

Mrs. Juanita Boggs passed away on Saturday October 12, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Grayson County, Kentucky on May 25, 1929, to the late Oliver and Winnie Grant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Herbert Boggs, her husband of 68 years, Bruce Snyder, Jr., son-in-law-, Gracelyn Boggs, great-granddaughter, and 9 siblings. During her life she was a beloved homemaker with a sense of humor. She loved spending time outdoors and in recent years you would probably find her sitting in her rocking chair on her deck overlooking her backyard and lake. She was an accomplished quilter and loved crocheting, ceramics, and arts and crafts. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, sons, John Boggs (Linda) of Lebanon Junction, James Boggs (Debbie) of Mt. Washington, Brian Boggs (Angie) of Hodgenville, daughter Linda Snyder of Warner Robins, GA, sister Lorean Bush of Louisville, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren, along with a host of other dear family and friends.
After trusting in Jesus as Savior later in life, almost 20 years ago, she became a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist church.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Nancy Embry and Dottie Vittitoe for their compassionate care provided to Juanita. Additionally, they are grateful to her Hosparus Nurses and staff.
A Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 12:00 noon at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy at John Harper Freeway) with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m.
