Judith Michelle Barnes

Judith Michelle Barnes, age 65, of Clarkson, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, September 6, 2024.   She was born on July 7, 1959 in Louisville, KY. to James and Linda “Baker” Wright. She was of the Nazarene faith and was a teachers assistant at Brooks Elementary School.  She was also preceded in death by her father, James Wright and step father, Jack “GP”Rice. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Danny Barnes; sons, Christopher Barnes (Jennifer), Adam Barnes (Jennifer) and Joshua Barnes (Andrea); mother, Linda Rice; two sisters, Robin Harley (Jay) and Lisa Springer (Jay); six grandchildren, Caitlin, Landon, Allie, Kipton, Maddie and Michael; nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A funeral service will be at 12:30 pm, Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with entombment at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday and on Wednesday 9:30 am until time of service.
