Judy Kay Powell

Ms. Judy Kay Powell, age 69, of Fairdale, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, April 15, 2022. Ms. Powell was born in Louisville, KY on July 24, 1952 to the late William and Geraldine Powell, she was Baptist by faith and has left many loving family members who mourn her loss.

Among those who cherish her memory are, her brother, Michael Powell (Linda); nephews, Christopher Powell (Stephanie) and Jason Powell (Kathy Jo); great nephews, Hunter, Luke, Connor and Bryce Powell and Keegan and Grant Lyons; cousins, Kathy Powell- Foreman (Dennis) and Donna Powell- Foreman; great-cousins, Leslie Dempster (Phillip), Nicholas Foreman, Brock Foreman (Samantha); great-great cousins, Isabella, Maverick, Weston and Colton and a host of other cousins, great- cousins and dear friends and family.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington (Hwy. 44 east at 123 Winning Colors Dr.) with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of her service at noon at the funeral home.
