June Katherine Jones

Mrs. June Katherine Jones, age 71, of Okolona, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 13, 2019. Mrs. Jones was born in Dayton, OH on August 30, 1947 to the late James and Blanche Davenport.

Among those who preceded her in death are, her son, Larry Allen Jones, Jr.; granddaughter, Angel Zoel Lewis and great-granddaughter, Audrey Lynn Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 50 years, Larry A. Jones; daughters, Michelle Jones (Carlton) and Jennifer Jones (Justice); grandchildren, Brittany Montgomery, Starr Lewis, Bryce Harp, Austin Keating, Christian Jones, Miranda Carlton and Makayla Carlton; great- grandchildren, Jaxxon Montgomery, Aubrey Jones and Bella Keating; siblings, Joe Davenport, Jerry Davenport and Dee Dee Duke and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, July 18, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Penn Run Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus.
