Mrs. Karen Grace Boardman, age 77, of Hillview returned to her Heavenly Father on October 11, 2017. Karen was an executive assistant at the Kentucky Fried Chicken corporate office and a member of Southeast Christian Church. Among those that preceded her in death include her parents, Raymond and Grace Wagner. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, James “Jim” Boardman; children, Michelle Steward, Michael Boardman (Terry) and Mark Boardman (Annette); 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Allan Wagner.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 pm on Sunday, October 15, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). A celebration of life and remembrance will be from 1 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. www.subfuneralhome.com
