Kenneth Martin Bailey, Jr.

Kenneth Martin Bailey, Jr., age 89, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 11, 2022. He was owner and operator of B & R Tires  and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church; past president Bullitt County Genealogical Society and founding member of Bullitt County History Museum; Kentucky Colonel and member of Knights of Columbus and a Army veteran. Kenneth was born in Brooks, Kentucky on September 11, 1933, to the late Kenneth M. Bailey, Sr. (Lela) and Wilma Hatzell Bailey. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Ethan Bennett. Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Barbara Lamont Bailey; children, Kelley Bennett (Tony), Kenneth M. Bailey III (Jean), Keith Bailey and Christopher Bailey (Amy); brother, George Bailey (Porter); grandchildren, Nicole, Sarah, Zachary, Collin, Chloe, Grace, Abbey and Megan; great grandchild. Lydia; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 6 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Sunday from 11 am until time of service at the funeral home.
