Linda Ann Decker

Linda Ann Minks Decker, age 69, of Shepherdsville, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 9, 2023.   She was born in Jefferson County, KY on December 28, 1953, to Patsy Lewis Minks and the late Raymond Minks.

Besides her mother, she leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 52 years, Carson Decker, having united in marriage on November 24, 1971; daughters, Michelle Meredith (Colvin), Venus Tatum (Charlie) and Angel Elice Tarrence (Scott); grandchildren, Samantha, Paige and Cole; great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Nevaeh; brothers, Raymond Minks, Jr. (Donna) and Dennis Minks (Barbara); sisters, Patty Thompson (Joseph) and Julie Hobbs (Ricky); and her fur-baby, Bandit and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 3 pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
