

Linda Hild-Foster, age 67, of Mt. Washington, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on January 28, 2019. Mrs. Hild-Foster was born in Louisville, Kentucky on February 7th, 1951 to the late Mary Evelyn and Richard Edward Hild Sr. She was a dedicated homemaker and Catholic by faith. Mrs. Hild-Foster lived a life of service dedicated to helping people in need. She loved people of all ages. She fostered numerous children over the years and went to the Senior Citizens Center twice every week where she made a lot of friends and spent valuable time with the elderly. She volunteered every week at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington and the Lion’s Club food pantries. She took great joy in all the holidays, especially the fourth of July and Christmas. Mrs. Hild-Foster loved cardinals because they reminded her of her mother. She also loved parades and her favorite fur baby, Luna. Mrs. Hild-Foster will be greatly missed.
Among those that preceded her in death are her parents; brother and sister, Richard Edward Hild Jr. and Sylvia Poynter; and her close friend Myrtle.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 26 years, Larry Foster; children, Richard Daniel Hatchell (Rahel), Shannon Danyle Hatchell, and Kayla Hild-Foster; grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan, Jadyn, Joelle, James, Ivy, and Ari; sisters, Sandra Thacker (Ronnie) and Donna Fickentsher; Sisters-in-law, Ethel Hild and Cindy Monroe; numerous nieces and nephews; her close friends, Ellie and Becky; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:00 am at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (N. Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow in St. Michaels Cemetery (1300 Ellison Ave., Louisville, Kentucky). Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
