Lois Imogene Jameson

Mrs. Lois Imogene (Carter) Jameson, age 89, of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father on September 6, 2024. Mrs. Jameson was born on March 23, 1935, in Central City, KY to the late Otha and Sarah (Ball) Carter. She retired from Ford Motor Company where she worked as an assembler. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents, grandson, Victor “Petey” Phillips; brothers, Kenneth, JC, Herschel, Willard, and Phil Carter; and sisters, Edith Marie Carter and Janice Browning.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 73 years, Charles Jameson; children, Gary Jameson (Lorena), Sue Ragland, Connie Bailey (Kenny), and Sandra Snyder; grandchildren, Angela, Lea Ann, James, Jeremy, Eric, and Travis; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Ava Doss; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Friday, September 13, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
