Mr. Marion Edward Dobbs (a.k.a. “Little Eddie” to his family) age 58, of Bardstown, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. Mr. Dobbs retired as a Tech Sergeant after 18 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. He was an aircraft mechanic, cyclist and runner of marathons.
Among those who preceded him in death are his parents, William Dobbs and Janice Miinch.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 17 years, Christina Dobbs; children, William Earl Dobbs (Heather), Jennifer Lynn Bohannon (Brian), Cameron Michael Bailey and Colin R. Crigler; grandchildren, Julie, Brooke, Tyler, Mackenzie, Aiden and Matt and his sisters, Cathy Abbott and Melissa Rogers (Mike).
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 5pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 12pm until 8pm and Tuesday from 12pm until the time of the service. www.subfuneralhome.com
