Mrs. Mary Margaret “Mickey” Coates, age 70, of Highview returned to her Heavenly Father on January 4, 2019. Mrs. Coates was born on January 13, 1948 to the late Charles and Josephine Brown in Louisville, KY. She was an accounting clerk for UPS and a Catholic by faith. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents; and brother, Michael Brown. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 51 years, James “Tony” Coates; son, Charles Coates; sister, Donna Simms; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Friday, January 11, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Calvary Cemetery.
