Mary Ann Thompson Littrell

Mrs. Mary Ann Thompson Littrell, age 79, of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father on May 1, 2017. Mrs. Littrell was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and an avid University of Kentucky fan. Among those that preceded her in death include her parents, William and Bessie Mae Simpson Thompson; husband, Reuben L. Littrell; and granddaughter, Ashley Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, David Littrell, Sr. (Debbie); daughter, Robbin Goomey (Denis); 6 grandchildren, Leslie Littrell, David Littrell, Jr. (Ashley), Evan Littrell, Sr. (Kayla), Tiffany Jones (Josh), Sean Jones (Michelle) and Ryan Jones (Courtney); 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Thompson (Judy); and sister-in-law, Peachie Speevack.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Christ Lutheran Church (9212 Taylorsville Road Louisville, KY 40299) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 2-8 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) and Thursday from 9 am until time of service at the church.
