Melinda Mae Swift Miller

Mrs. Melinda Mae Swift Miller, age 74, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Mrs. Miller was born in Butler County, KY on November 15, 1949 to the late Forrest and Helen Swift and she was a member of Manslick Road Church of Christ. She loved watching hummingbirds and wearing the color red but her favorite thing to do was to play with her great-grandson, Oliver and eat ice cream.

In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, Eldridge Louis Miller and her sister, Marlene Tarrence preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Tina Runner (Randy) and Tracy Roederer (Doug); grandchildren, Jessica Pierce (Titus), Diana Mulamba (Wezi), Natalee Runner and Wyatt Roederer; great-grandson, Oliver Pierce; siblings, Charles Swift (Nancy) and Darrel Swift (Judy) and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at noon at the funeral home.
