Michael L. Hunt

Mr. Michael Leroy Hunt, age 62, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, September 27, 2024. Mr. Hunt was born in Louisville, KY on May 3, 1962, to the late Morris Leroy Hunt and Delores Seidle Newman, he was a skilled millwright and a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Pamela Sue Hunt; daughters, Melissa Tungate (Ronnie) and Amanda Greenwell; grandchildren, Karissa, Ciara, Katrina, Natalie, R.J. and Rylee; sisters, Kathy, Jan, Ann, Sandy and Dana; sister-in-law, Debbie (Don), Marilyn (Al) and Kim (Johnny); brother-in-law, Ronnie and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 12:00 pm until the time of his service at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
