Michael "Brandon" Ray

Mr. Michael “Brandon” Ray, age 34, of Mount Washington, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 21, 2018. He was born on October 2, 1983 in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Mr. Ray was a member of Local 369 I.B.E.W. for 6 years and he attended Okolona Christian Church. Mr. Ray was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish. He was kind, compassionate and loved his family and friends wholeheartedly. 

Among those who preceded him in death are his grandparents, Stephen and Sharon McGrew.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 4 years, Emily Ray; parents, Mike and Melissa Ray; stepdaughter, Leia Cope; brother, Cameron Ray; uncles, Lonny Ray (Christina Gardner), Don Ray (Dawn), Allen Ray (Tabitha), Steve McGrew (Caroline); aunts, Melinda Crabtree (Andy) and Shara Brashear (Kirby) and grandparents, Michael T. Ray and Mary Lou Jacques.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. www.subfuneralhome.com
