Michael Schmidt

Mr. Michael Schmidt lV, 42 of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father Sunday, December 13, 2015. Mr. Schmidt attended North Bullitt High School, was an Army veteran where he served 3 tours in Iraq, and was an electrician for I.H.G. Electric Company.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Hallie Schmidt, Lauren Schmidt, Meagan Carlisle, Brandon Indykiewicz; grandchildren, Addison Carlisle, Ashlynn Carlisle; Parents, Michael and Donna Schmidt and Launa Schmidt; sisters, Brandy Davis, Kristina Walls and Tracy Frazier and brother, Brian Schmidt.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 2 p.m.in the chapel of the Preston Highway Schoppenhorst, 4895 N. Preston Highway, Shepherdsville, Ky. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 12-2 pm at Schoppenhorst, with cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
