Michael T. Simmons

Michael T. Simmons, 65, of Louisville, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 13, 2013. Mr. Simmons was born in Jefferson County, KY on June 5, 1948. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. Mr. Simmons retired for the Marine Corp.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents, George W. and Mary M. Simmons.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Ann Michelle Simmons (Kenneth); son, Michael T. Simmons, II.; fiancé, Connie S. Williams; grandson, Corey Kiefer; brother, Bill Simmons and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be conducted at Noon on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with internment in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 4:00pm until 8:00, Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 8:00pm and on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
