Noah was born into humble beginnings in rural Hart County. Though he grew up with very little, he was rich in love, discipline, and spiritual grounding. He was raised in the church and was saved at Millerstown Missionary Baptist Church, beginning a lifelong commitment to serving The Lord, a devotion that shaped his character and guided his priorities.
As a young man, he moved to Louisville and began working at American Air Filter (AAF), where he spent over three decades. Through diligence and a commitment to learning, Noah became a skilled blueprint reader and a highly respected welder and assembler of large nuclear filtration systems. His work ethic and capability earned him deep respect from coworkers and friends alike.
Though he was a quiet man, his presence was powerful. As a father and grandfather, the love, stability, and strength he gave to his family were unmistakable. His children remember him as stern but fair, always setting a clear example and offering both correction and guidance rooted in love. The lessons he imparted continue to shape their lives in ways too vast to measure.
Noah lived his life steadfast within The Lord, and his faith was central to his life. His consistent message to his family was to put The Lord first. He was a devoted member of Hiawatha Missionary Baptist Church, and a source of reliable strength within the congregation.
While words fall short of capturing the full measure of his impact, those who knew him will forever remember his firm but gentle hands.
We love you Pop with everything in us. Thank you for being our rock, our guide, and our example of strength, faith and love.
