Patrick H. Yates

Mr. Patrick H. Yates Sr., age 79, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 24, 2014 with all of his family and friends by his side. Mr. Yates was born in Nelson County, Kentucky on September 10, 1934 to the late William and Katherine Yates.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents; brothers, Billy and Charlie Yates; sister, Florence Head a host of good friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Henry Yates (Susan), Donna Dadisman, Willie Yates (Lee Ann), Joey Yates, Doug Yates (Kay), Carol Tatro (Steve), Mark Yates, Missy Yates and Stacy Stagnolia (Joe); 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren with two on the way; his former wife, Norma Jean; brother, Ralph Yates and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 28, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from noon until 2:00 pm at Schoppenhorst. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
