Paula York Hester

Mrs. Hester was born May 16, 1940 in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky to the late Robert Paul and Edna Phyllis Hawkins York. She was the founding President of Paula York Personnel and a member of Leitchfield Christian Church.

Among those who preceded her in death include her parents and sister, Peggy Sue York.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 44 years, James E. Hester; step children, Cary Hester (Dennie), Geri Gregory (George), Colleen Hester and Tim Hester (Margie); 19 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Kearns, Patsy Hutchins (Joe) and Pamela Settles (Pat), many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd; use John Harper entrance) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
