Peggy Sue Dean

Ms. Peggy Sue Dean, age 80, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 14, 2024. Ms. Dean was born in Glasgow, KY on March 31, 1944 to the late Ed Amos Bowier and Mary Elizabeth Stout Bowier. She was a member of Fairdale Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, her daughter, Debra Sue Whitmer preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister, Mary Frances Basil; dear friends, April Pickering (Lucian); loving family, Charlie Whitmer (Neisha), Clifton Whitmer (Tara), Roma Keown (Angie) and Carl Keown (Leanne) and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 22, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with entombment to follow at Hebron Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of her service at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
