Rhonda Sue Drake

Mrs. Rhonda Sue Drake, age 67, of Hillview, gained her Angel Wings on Monday, February 3, 2020. Mrs. Drake was born in Louisville, KY on May 17, 1952. She had a passion and talent for crochet. She lovingly crocheted and donated thousands of items to Kosair Charities. Rhonda and Phil also volunteered their time during Christmas to dress up as Mr. and Mrs. Claus for the children in the community.

Among those who preceded her in death are, her father, Bob Devers and her brother, Michael Ray Devers.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 43 years, Phil W. Drake; her sons, Jason Devers (Nikki) and Michael Drake; grandchildren  , Gabby and Cooper; 10 additional grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and one on the way; stepchildren, Melissa Riordan and Scott Drake; sister, Chiquita Parrish (Jay); nieces, Alanna Wuest (Jamey); grand nieces, Gracie and Lillian Wuest; nephew, Eddie Kiefer and his children; her special friend, Karen Aulbach and a host of other dear family and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
