Richard Allen Whittington, Sr.

Mr. Richard Allen Whittington, Sr., Age 56, of Bullitt County, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, February 28, 2020.  Mr. Whittington was born on September 3, 1963, in Louisville to the late Sidney G. Whittington and Sue Ann Tobias.

Among those that precede him in death are his parents; stepfather, Robert Tobias; grandparents, Robert and Mildred Whittington and John and Mary Lou Elliott.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Alesia Whittington; children, Richard Whittington II, Brittany Johnston, and Joshua Whittington and Jonathan Whittington; grandchildren, Alexis, Hayleigh, Madison, Noah and Lydia; brothers, John Whittington (Kimberly), Robert, David and Donald Tobias; sister, Julia Wright; aunt, Patricia Bailey; and a host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 12 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Dr.) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 3 pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.  www.subfuneralhome.com
