Robert M. Bard, age 85 of Shepherdsville, was born December 5, 1928 to the Late Melvin and Hilda Sliter Bard and passed away October 10, 2014. Mr. Bard was a member of Manslick Road Church of Christ and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Among those who preceded him in death include his parents and his son, Kurn Bard.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Captola Byers Bard; daughters, Debbie Grushon (Mike) and Olivia Mindel (David); son, Andy Bard (Alice); daughter in law, Kelly Bard; sister, Peggy Huber; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a host of other family and friends.
The funeral service will be held 10 A.M. Tuesday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road and use John Harper entrance) with interment in Embry Cemetery in Butler County. Friends may pay their respects from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. Monday at Schoppenhorst.
