Robert "Bob" Royal Alden, Jr.

Robert “Bob” Royal Alden, Jr. age 63, of Louisville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 2, 2024.   He was born on August 26, 1960 in Jefferson County, Kentucky to the late Robert Royal Alden, Sr. and Joyce Marie Spoelker Alden.  

He was a Kentucky Colonel and loved riding his motorcycle and called it his “wind therapy.”  

Besides his parents he is also preceded in death by his sister, Denise Marshall and the mother of his children, Rebecca Ellen Alden.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Robert Royal Alden, III (Joe Ewing); daughter, Kristy Drake (Jeremy); fiancé, Sherry Litton; grandchildren, Brianna Drake (Zachary Beck), Alexis Drake and Wavie Drake; great grandchildren, Kolter Beck; sister, Debora Alden; brother, Joseph Alden (Barbara); niece, Amanda Gonzales (Ryan) and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1 pm until 8 pm on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.).   Burial will be held at Kentucky Veterans Central Cemetery (Radcliff, KY) on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 10:30 am.
