Robert Anthony Faust

Mr. Robert Faust, age 89, returned to his Heavenly Father on September 27, 2019.   Mr. Faust was born in Louisville, KY on August 28, 1930 to the late John and Evelyn Faust. Mr. Faust was catholic by faith and a Naval veteran. He served 6 years in the Korean war. He loved God and serving his country, so he reenlisted in the reserves and went on to serve his country for 35 more years.  He was a machinist mate in the Navy and then a machine repairman for International Harvesters. Mr. Faust also loved to work so after he retired, he kept working at various odd jobs until way into his late 70’s. He loved his family and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Gerrie Faust; his former wife, Nancy Faust; and his sons, Rojer and Robert Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Ginny Brocar (Scott), Quentin (Carla) and Steven; grandchildren, Rojer (Abby), Jimmy (Laurie) and Scotty (Tia); numerous great grandchildren; several nieces, and nephews; and other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 6, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow on Monday at 10:00 am in Highland Memory Gardens (279 Landis Ln., Mount Washington, KY). Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 3:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
