Robert Jayce Harper

Mr. Robert Jayce Harper, 22, of Shelbyville, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, February 21, 2022. Robert was born in Louisville, KY on May 21, 1999, to Jason Lee Harper and Jennifer Lea (Nicheols) Harper. Robert was a graduate of Martha Layne Collins High School in 2017, where he played Varsity Lacrosse for 4 years. He was one of the founding members of (Titans Lacrosse). Robert also enjoyed playing various sports, he worked for NIFCO, as a material specialist, he loved owning and driving fast luxury cars, he enjoyed collecting Tennis shoes of which he had many. Robert also enjoyed family time, having photos taken, he was always willing to help others, and he also enjoyed spending time with his extended work family.

Among those who preceded him in death are his grandparents, Paul Nicheols, and Regina Adams; paternal grandmother, JoAnn Harper, uncle Daton Harper.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, brother Dustin Harper, sister Jessica Harper, (Papaws), Bobby Harper and Michael Adams, uncle, Jeremy Nicheols (Lisa); best friends Logan Duncan and Megan Woods, and his furry son Gizmo, along with a host of many other family and friends. One of Roberts last acts of kindness was his organ donation to K.O.D.A. Roberts family would like to thank Jewish-Shelbyville, and Jewish-Downtown for the kindness and loving care they expressed to their family during his final moments.

Memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Sunday, February 27, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022, from 12 noon until 6:00 pm. Cremation was chosen
