Robert Kohler

Robert Howard Kohler, Sr. age 85, of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Mr. Kohler was born June 6, 1929 in Louisville. He was retired from Alcan Aluminum Company after 34 years, 13 ½ years at L & N Railroad and a Navy veteran. Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents, Earl and Catherine Kohler. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 64 years Helen M "Byrum" Kohler; sons, Robert Howard Kohler, Jr.(Tina), Michael Wayne Kohler (Lou Ann); daughter, Sonya Luann O'Keefe (David); 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Noon on Wednesday in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Rd. use John Harper entrance) with burial in Brookland Cemetery.
