Roger L. Lockwood

   Roger L. Lockwood, age 74 of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, August, 10, 2023. He was born on July 11, 1949, to Carl and Mary (Miller) Lockwood. Roger was a vendor, setting up at the old Arlen’s Flea Market and most recently the Awesome Flea Market in Shepherdsville. He enjoyed traveling to various flea market sites in Kentucky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Douglas and brothers, Willy and Henry Lockwood.

   He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Tony Lee Lockwood, Nicole Judd (Jason), Brian Montgomery (Shawna), Brittany Montgomery, Michelle Gayhart and Christal Crady; grandchildren, Kaylee, Abigail, Jackson, Waylon and Natalie; sister, Barbara Smith (Donnie); sister-in-law, Darla “DaDa” Ownbey (Randy); his fur-baby, Biscuit, and a host of family and friends. 

   Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 2 pm in the chapel at Shoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy.) with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 10 am until 2 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home.
