Roger Wayne Roberts

Mr. Roger Wayne Roberts, age 72, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 18, 2024. Mr. Roberts was born in Albany, KY on November 15, 1951 to the late Newman Roberts and Sally Parrish. He was a dedicated employee of Bremner Bakery and Kroger and a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.

In addition to his parents, his sister, Betty Roberts preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 52 years, Janice Roberts; children, Tina Webb (Jerry) and Jonathan Roberts; grandchildren, Jerry Wayne Webb Jr. (Starr), Jessica Ann Hamblin, Christian-Matthew Roberts, Sean-Michael Roberts and Jonathan-Tyler Roberts; great-grandchildren, Braden Hamblin, Jeremiah Webb, Mason Hancock, Leon Webb, Austin Sloan, Kyra Webb and Emery Sloan; brother, Gary Roberts; sisters, Shirley Shelton and Greta Tabb and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with a family reception to follow (details TBA). Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
