Ronald Chester Kittle Sr.

Mr. Ronald Chester Kittle Sr., age 83, of Shepherdsville, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 30, 2022. He was born in Louisville, KY on Sunday, October 2, 1938 to the late William Chester and June Maxine Kittle. He was an Army Veteran and a retired employee of Louisville Gas & Electric. A member of Salem Church of Christ. He was also the former president of North Bullitt Baseball Boosters, where he was known as “Big Ron”. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Merle Kittle.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Anne Kittle; his children, Martha Hall (Tom), Ron Kittle Jr. (Michelle), Todd Kittle (Jolena) and Matt Kittle (Jody); his siblings, Ray Lee Kittle and Anita Brown; his grandchildren, Bryce, Luke, Blake, Adam, Braden, Devan, Emmy Jo and Bobbie Ann; along with a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home 4895 N. Preston Highway Shepherdsville, burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitations will be Wednesday 4pm until 8pm and Thursday 10am until time of service.
