Samuel Figueroa

Mr. Samuel Figueroa., age 52, of Louisville, Ky., returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday March 12, 2021. Samuel was born in Chicago, IL on May 5, 1968 to the late Juan and Esther (Rodriguez) Figueroa. He was a mechanic and construction worker for most of his life. Samuel enjoyed working on cars, liked playing the guitar, listening to Spanish music, fishing, and most of all he will be remembered by his family as the jokester who liked to pull pranks and make you laugh. He will be deeply missed for he was a social butterfly and enjoyed being with people.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers; William and Andres Figueroa, sister, Ricarda Figueroa.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his sister, Vicky Summarell (Justin) brother; Juan Figueroa, children; Emmanuel, Juan, Rosa Cintron; Veronica Conley (William), and Mya Figueroa; grandchildren Anthony Brown, Aaliyah, Angelica, Andreas, Carmella Cintron, and Justus. Along with a host of other family and friends.

 Funeral service will be held Thursday March 25, 2021 at 5pm at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday March 25, 2021 from 3pm to 5pm. With burial on Friday at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, in Jeffersonville, IN at 10a.m.
