Steve M. Corbin

Mr. Steve M. Corbin, age 73, of Hillview, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. Mr. Corbin was born in Louisville, KY on July 27, 1947 to the late Chester and Ola May Corbin.

Mr. Corbin was a dedicated member of Little Flock Baptist Church for 29 years. Before he attended school for barbering, he worked at American Can Company. He was a Master Barber and part owner of Chambliss Hair Replacement, and Stables Inn, as well as owner of The Classic.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 41 years, Wanda Corbin; children, Sonya Strotman (Steve), Christopher Corbin, Steven Corbin (Taylor), Crystal Cushingberry (Joe) and Richard Milby; grandchildren, Matthew Keeling (Olivia), Cody Hutchinson (Robyn), Christianna Corbin, Cobie Adamson,  Jalynn Cushingberry, Tallon Corbin and Matteo Bedendo; siblings, Terry Corbin and Dennis Corbin; many friends at the Peddler’s Mall in Hillview and a host of other dear family.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Little Flock Baptist Church (5500 N. Preston Hwy., Shepherdsville) with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy., Louisville). Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) and on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Little Flock Baptist Church.
