Thelma Marie McPherson

Mrs. Thelma Marie McPherson, age 89, of Shepherdsville, gained her Angel Wings and joined her beloved husband in Heaven on Saturday, November 9, 2024. Mrs. McPherson was born February 9, 1935 in Monroe County, KY to the late William and Ida Turner. She was Baptist by faith and retired from Ford Motor Company.

In addition to her parents, her loving husband, Norman L. McPherson; children, Larry, Garry and Terry Kirby, Jeff McPherson and Pam McPherson; grandchildren, Kevin Kirby, Steven Crowe and Joshua Crowe; great-grandson, Landon Crowe; daughter-in-law, Lisa Harrison and her brothers, Buford, Elmer, Bruce and Delmar Turner preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Helen Winstead, Debbie Crowe (Steve), William H. Harrison, Lee Ann M. Harrison (Mike), Mike, Teresa, and Kevin McPherson; 8 grandchildren, Karie, Beth, Jennifer, Eli, Mindy, Chris, Holly and Harrison; 16 great-grandchildren and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, November 14, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
