Thomas Wayne Kirk

Mr. Thomas Wayne Kirk, age 77, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. Mr. Kirk was born in Charleston, West Virginia on September 18, 1943 to the late Claude and Mary Kirk. He was a member of Evangel World Prayer Center, where he served in many positions of responsibility including, minister, Sunday school teacher, children’s ministry, missionary and he served for 30 years at the Lord’s Kitchen. He also had his own TV ministry since 1984 and he was minister at Church Growth International.

Mr. Kirk served in the US Army and was an airplane pilot for 26 years at Apollo Airways and TAS Aviation. At the end of his career, he was a truck driver for Kingsbury of Louisville.

Among those who preceded him in death are, his parents, sister, Barbara Kirk Medley and grandparents, Thomas Samuel Kirk and Dixie Kirk.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 56 years, Della Grave Davis Kirk; his daughter, Tammy Rutledge (Gary); grandchildren, Amber Rutldge Thompson (Elijah) and Tiffany Rutledge; great grandchild, Sinead Hope Thompson and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Evangel World Prayer Center (6900 Billtown Rd., Louisville, KY) with burial to follow at Crosswater Gardens Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church.
