Agnes Marie Wagner, 89, of Hallettsville, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Shiner Nursing & Rehab in Shiner, Texas. Private Graveside Services were under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner, Texas and was held on July 1, 2020 at Shiner Catholic Cemetery in Shiner, Texas with Deacon Joe Machacek officiating.

Agnes was born on September 19, 1930 in Hallettsville, Texas. She was the daughter of Gus J. and Annie (Rothbauer) Brogger. She married Edwin Wagner on June 22, 1949. She liked to plant and raise a vegetable garden each year.She also enjoyed baking for family and friends, and crocheting. She worked as a leather worker for many years at Tex Tan in Yoakum, Texas.

Agnes is survived by one son; Robert Wagner and his wife, Alvina of Shiner, Texas, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Gus and Annie Brogger, and her loving husband; Edwin Wagner.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Wagner were; Duane Wagner, Bryan Wagner, Darrel Wagner, Mark Rohlfing, Reid Walston, and David Wagner.
