Alvin Steffek

Alvin was born to Charles and Mary Steffek on August 12, 1923 in Sweethome, Texas.

On June 8, 1958 he married Theresa Pustejovsky in Hallettsville, Texas and they had two children, Alvin and Michael.

Alvin was preceded in death by two brothers, Rudolph and Albert Steffek and one sister, Leona Stanley.

Alvin is survived by two sons, Alvin and Michael and four grandchildren, Beth and husband Steven, Kaylie, Charles and Teagan Steffek and one great-grandchild, Caleb Hull.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 9, 2010 from 7 am to 9 pm at Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner with a Rosary at 7pm. Funeral service will be on July 10 at 11:00 am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sweethome. Burial will follow at Sweethome Cemetery.
