Dorothy Elliott

Dorothy was born to the late Walter and Elizabeth (Scown) Leinbach on May 1, 1921 in Sour Lake, Tx. and moved to Shiner in 2006. Dorothy was a catholic and a member of the Altar Society.

She is survived by her daughter Dorothy Blackman and husband Calvin, sons; Tim Elliott and wife Betty and David Elliott and wife Lisa, 18 grandchildren , 36 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Michael Elliott in 1990, one son; Michael Elliott Jr. and sister; Betty Vogel.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 11, 2012 starting at 3:00 pm at Buffington Funeral Home. Rosary will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church at 9:15 am, followed by service at 10:00 am. Burial will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Ginna Molla Pro Life Group at Sts. Cyril & Methodist Catholic Church-Shiner. Arrangements are under the care of Buffington Funeral Home 361-594-3352.
