Paul Roy Parnell Sr.

Paul Parnell Sr., of Shiner, Texas passed away on June 13, 2011 at the age of 76. Paul was born in Ashtabula, Ohio to Lyle and Edythe Parnell. After graduating high school, Paul entered into the Marines and later became a truck driver. Mr. Parnell is preceded in death by his parents, one son; Paul Jr., two sisters; Gertrude Garza and Mary Meredyk, one half brother; Lyle Jr. and one half sister; Kathleen Achee. He is survived by 3 sons; Michael, Lyle and Steven, 2 daughters; Constance Ball and Karen Kaczmarek, 3 sisters; Edith Scarbrough, Eva (Edward) Eddy and Rosemary (Pete) Trowbridge and 2 brothers; Charles and Joseph (Diane) Parnell. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 1:00 pm at First United Methodist Church in Shiner. Arrangements are under the care of Buffington Funeral Home, 361-594-3352.
