

SHREVEPORT, LA- Mr. Aubrey Glenn Kay was taken to Heaven, on Sunday, July 12, 2015, suddenly and unexpectedly. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Centuries Funeral Home on Mansfield Rd. Funeral Services will begin at 2 pm, on Friday, July 17, 2015 with Bro Skip Noble, Pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mansfield, La. and Jimmy Clark, Pastor at Sycamore Life Ministries in Greenwood, La. Glenn was born in Shreveport, La. on August 22, 1947, where he lived his entire life. He graduated from Fair Park High School in 1965, and then graduated from Northeast Louisiana Pharmacy school in 1971. Glenn worked as a pharmacist for over 40 years, and was currently working as Pharmacy manager at Healthcare Pharmacy. Everyone knows Glenn for his humor and practical jokes. He lit up the room with his bright smile. Glenn never met a stranger. He loved sports, especially watching his grandchildren play sports and LSU football. Glenn loved to travel with his wife Alice and their families. Glenn and his wife Alice enjoyed many years of traveling together including many cruises, trips to Vegas, Europe, Alaska, Western and Eastern Caribbean. Glenn was a wonderful Husband, Father, Brother, and Grandfather. He loved being around family. Glenn was always willing to help anyone who asked.
Glenn is preceded in death by his Mother, Elizabeth Faye Kay and his Father, Wesley Aubrey Kay.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years Alice Kay, daughter Sandy McClure and Husband Charles, son Stephen Kay and wife Sarah, Step-daughter Brigetta House and husband Michael, stepdaughter Deaundria English, brother Ronnie Kay and wife Debra, sister in law, Marvilyn Staggs and husband Randy. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one niece, several nephews, numerous cousins and friends
Pallbearers will be Keith Price, Michael House, Randy Staggs, Brandon House, Brian House, and Ryan Staggs.
The family requests memorials be made to Rosepark Baptist Church in Shreveport, La.
The family would like to express thanks for all the prayers and support from friends and family, Rosepark Baptist Church, Shreveport Baptist Temple, Highland Hospital, Shreveport Fire Department, Dr. Richard Haynie, Dr. Jon Davis, and all of the other excellent physicians and medical staff who provided care to Glenn.
