

Aubrey attended Fairpark High School before he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and retired as MSgt. in 1978 after twenty-two years of service. He was later employed as a truck driver with several companies before retiring with Enron and had recently started attending Word of God Ministries. Aubrey was a member of The Red River Rounders and Southern Swingers Square Dance Clubs where dancing became one of his passions along with traveling.
Aubrey was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Lorese Bush; and the mother of his children, Lucretia Vines Rose. He is survived by his children, Waynette and Raymond Lee, Linda and Donnie Roberts, Lynette and Rodney Nichols, Audette and Tim Gladney, Ronald and Kim Vines, Paul and Wendy Vines, and Suzette Vines; twenty-five grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren; his sister, Antoinette Jones; many other relatives; his dear, close friend, Sue Green; and his many dance friends.
Visitation will be held at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, on Monday, March 23, 2015, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m, followed by a 2:00 p.m. graveside service at NW Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Keithville, LA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Alzheimer's Foundation, The Cancer Foundation, or Military charity of your choice.
