Services celebrating the life of Belinda Lenae Nichols, 55, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2011 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Bro. James McMenis and Steve Nichols. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Campbell Creek Cemetery in Lena, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Belinda was born on January 6, 1956 in Shreveport, LA, to Leo and Helen Brown Nichols and she passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011, after a sudden illness. She was employed by and retired from General Motors after 25 years of dedicated service. She will be remembered as a very caring, loving and funny person. Belinda was a Christian who thought of others before herself.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of Belinda are her parents; Leo and Helen Nichols, siblings; Ronnie Nichols and wife Pat of DeBerry, TX, Barbara Foster of DeBerry, TX, Carolyn Nichols of DeBerry, TX, Steve Nichols and wife Jeanie of Greenwood, LA, Danny Nichols of DeBerry, TX and Janie Boyd of Shreveport, LA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who love her dearly.

Honoring Belinda as pallbearers will be Chris Chandler, Steve Mathews, Robert Ray, Jon Ray, Kevin Bass and Frank Kovac. Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Bennett and Pete Martin.
