Services to celebrate the life of Bessie M. Shaw, 84, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday evening between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Bessie was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Monroe Moore and Emma Moore; two brothers, John and Dick Moore; and one sister, Louise Moore. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Claude Charles Shaw and Gary Lynn Shaw; four sisters, Lessie, Virginia, Bobbie and Barbara; one brother, Gus Moore; and thirteen grandchildren, Angie Shaw Ellison and husband, Patrick, Kevin Booth, Richard Booth, Steven Charles Shaw, Jeffrey Shaw, Sheyenne Cushion, Claudia Shaw, Braydon Shaw, Lynn Shaw, Michael Shaw, Christopher Shaw, Jeremy Shaw and Jeannie Shaw; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Bessie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed!
