Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Bettie Johnson Pharis, 90, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Bettie was born on August 31, 1923 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 10, 2014. She was a gracious, loving Christian woman that provided love and joy to her family.
Mrs. Pharis was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel and her son, Jay.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Bettie is her son Henry and wife Pam; sister, Priscilla and nephew, Patrick. She was “Mrs. Gande” to 4 grandchildren, Dodd, Kelly, Brandy and Darrin and she was “Grande” to 8 great grandchildren, Jacob, Tyler, Ashley, Jessica, Tanner, Haley, Charles and Douglas. Mrs. Pharis is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
