Betty graduated from Mineola High School in Mineola, Texas and attended college classes at TJC in Tyler, Texas. She completed a class in cake decorating and worked various jobs in customer service until her retirement. Betty was outspoken, open, and believed wholeheartedly in her convictions. She had a heart as big as Texas and would truly give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her world. She had lifelong friendships that well exceeded 40+ years. She knew the meaning to love and be loved and showed it in all she did. If you ever came to her house hungry you never left that way, for cooking was something she loved to do for others. Her Faith in God was unwavering, she is saved by God's loving and forgiving grace, and is now in her prepared home in Heaven for eternity.
A memorial service will be held at Rose Hill Baptist Church, 1420 Co Rd. 2460, Mineola, Texas 75773, May 6, 2023, at 2:00pm. All friends and family are invited to come celebrate her beautiful life.
No matter where you go or what you do in life, remember Betty's famous words, "Be careful, you're carrying my heart".
