He honorably served in the United States Army, where he fought in Vietnam War, earning numerous awards. After his discharge, He worked for many years as a Warehouse Supervisor for Omni in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Billy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, beloved uncle and friend to many. He married his highschool sweetheart, Santos Moreno and shared 56 wonderful years together. His passion in life was taking care of his 1975 Monte Carlo. Billy proudly won countless awards and trophies attending car shows across America. Billy loved his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed singing and leading worship at his church. Billy and Santos are faithful members of Grace Family Worship Center. He also liked spending time at the beach suntanning but most importantly spending time with his family.
Billy went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at the age of 76 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He is now reunited with his parents and brother, Frank Griffith. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Santos Griffith; his son, Jacob Griffith (Alicia); grandchildren, Caden and Alexis; brothers, Otis Griffith (Rose), Roger Logan and John Logan, sisters, Kathleen Garanznay and Barbara Logan, along with numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
A visitation for Billy will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108. A celebration of life will occur Friday, August 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home followed by an interment in Centuries Memorial Park. Pastor Willis Martin of Grace Family Worship Center will officiate the services. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Jacob Griffith, Ben Moreno, Tony Moreno, Joseph Moreno, Johnny Moreno and Joshua Koob.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Cornerstone Hospital and Dr. Jason Nelson, who all showed Mr. Billy all the love and care. They also would like to thank Home Instead for their caregivers, they truly helped Mr. Billy and his family.
