Carl Max Bobo, Sr. of Mooringsport, LA passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 surrounded by family at the age of 72. He was born November 9, 1948 in Pasadena, TX to the late Clyde Roger and Marie Wallace Evans. Carl never met a stranger. He loved animals, children, NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys, the LSU Tigers, music, traveling, and fishing. He loved to laugh and spend time with his family most of all. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 22 years, Mary Wingard Bobo; Son, Carl Max Bobo, Jr.; step-daughters, Mary Stokes Teekell and husband Tracy of Natchitoches, LA and Belinda Howell Kent and husband Chris of Jackson, GA; step-son, Chris Howell and Sarah of Essex, MD; brothers, Mike Evans and wife Debbie of New Braunfels, TX, Timmy Evans and wife Mary Margaret of Galveston, TX, Ralph Bobo of Katy, TX, Tony Evans and wife Rita of Evansville, IN, Terry Evans and wife Kim of Madisonville, LA and Scotty Evans of Omaha, NB; grandchildren, Katelynn Nichols and husband Cameron of Fort Worth, TX, Ashlynn and Lane Remedies of OK, Blake and Brooke Teekell of Natchitoches, LA, Austin and Jacob Kent of Jackson, GA and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Christina Bobo Remedies.
A visitation for Carl will be held Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Officiating the services will be Pastor Perry Culver. Honoring Carl as pallbearers will be Mike Evans, Tony Evans, Timmy Evans, Terry Evans, Ralph Bobo and Chris Howell.
