Carol Ann Normand McCann

She married Randall McCann, November 1991 in Shreveport, Louisiana, where they continued to live. She was a dedicated member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she had many friends. Later becoming an after school care teacher, where her kids meant so much to her. Retiring in 2018 to fiercely battle cancer. Her strong faith and unwillingness to give up inspired many.

Carol is survived by her sister, Elaine Normand; daughters, Rhonda Howard and husband James, and Roxane Roberts and husband Mickey; son, Randy Lachney and friend Leslie Ogden; grandchildren, Matt Sikes, Shane Sikes, Drew Roberts, Kayla Roberts and John Michael Lachney; and great-grandchildren, Devin, Briahna, and Kason.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, Merlin and Rosalie Normand.

The family would like to give special thanks to Aunt Jeanette Hawkins, Carolyn Person, Janice Williams, Judy Bartet and Bridget Nolen for their love and support.

A celebration of life will occur Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 12:00 PM until the service. An interment will occur Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Centuries Memorial Park following the service. Father Price will officiate the services for Ms. McCann. Serving as pallbearers are Randy Lachney, Matt Sikes, Shane Sikes, Mickey Robert , John Michael Lachney, Drew Roberts and James Howard.
