Services for Charles "Randy" Bounds, 64, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Blanchard. Visitation for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Randy was born on December 24, 1956 in Shreveport and was a longtime Blanchard resident. He worked at Rafferty International/Twin State Trucks for 29 years and United Engines 15 years. His customers became personal friends and family. He was very loving, generous and loved to laugh! His hobbies were fishing, hunting, Rangers games, LSU games and NASCAR.
Randy was a lung transplant recipient and was a true fighter. He defied the odds and battled beyond life expectancy to remain with the family and friends he loved. He, twice, survived cancer and further proved his determination to live life. Randy now resides in Heaven and forever in our hearts.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lavelle Bounds and mother, Katherine.
Randy is survived by his sons, Jason D. Bounds and fiancé Neeley Yarborough and Keith Bounds and wife Ashley; grandchildren, Cody, Matthew, Chase, Cayleb and Brynnley; brother, David Bounds and wife Darlene; sister, Kim Bounds Forsythe and husband Chris; nieces and nephews, Justin, Danielle, Cody and Breanna as well as several cousins and friends.
