Charles M. Culver

Charles Milton Culver was born April 21, 1932 in Liberty Hill LA. He went to be with his Lord May 21, 2014 in Shreveport. He entered the USAF in 1950 and married Jane Mothershed on February 3rd, 1952. He served in the Air Force until retiring in 1970. He later worked at Ernie Hair Ford Dealership in Tampa, FL until retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Nazarene Church and He and Jane returned to Louisiana in 2000.

Mr. Culver is preceded in death by his wife, Jane Mothershed Culver; his parents, Cora and Solon Culver and four siblings. He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Rena Douglas and husband Scott; grandsons, Jason Scott Douglas, Jeremy Douglas and Nathan Scott Douglas; sisters, Marie Buehler and Betty Sharbeno; brothers, Billy James Culver and wife Margie and Ronald Culver and wife Billie Jo; brother in law, Ralph Andrew Mothershed and wife Linda; and host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Friday, May 30, 2014, 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. David Radford. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park with military honors. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 5 until 7 PM at the funeral home
